In her own words
Dr. Angie walks through what the Trifecta system is, what a session involves, and who she thinks it suits.
Red & Near-Infrared Light Therapy
Trifecta is a light-therapy system. Flexible pads are placed over the area being treated and deliver red and near-infrared wavelengths to the skin — a category of treatment usually called photobiomodulation, or low-level light therapy. Nothing cuts, freezes or suctions. The pads are not hot; most people describe a mild warmth, and many find the session relaxing enough to fall asleep.
People book Trifecta at Chiro Care for two broad reasons — appearance and recovery. Light therapy may support the following. It is not a weight-loss program, and it does not replace exercise or a sensible diet.
Dr. Angie is a chiropractor first. If you are already being treated for back pain, a knee, or a work injury, light therapy is something she may suggest as a complement to your adjustments — not as a substitute for them. And if you have come in purely for contouring, she will still take a full history first, because she treats the person rather than the area.
The process
She asks what you are hoping to change, takes your history, and tells you honestly whether light therapy is a reasonable fit. This part is free, and there is no obligation to book anything.
The pads are positioned over the treatment area and you rest while the system runs. There are no needles and no anaesthetic. You can drive yourself home and return to normal activity immediately.
Light therapy is cumulative, so it is a short course of visits rather than a single appointment. Dr. Angie will tell you how many she recommends, and what it costs, before you commit to anything.
It is not for everybody — and she will tell you so.
Before recommending light therapy, Dr. Angie asks about pregnancy, active cancer treatment, light sensitivity and any medication that increases it. If Trifecta is not appropriate for you, or if she thinks something else would serve you better, she will say that at the consultation rather than sell you a course of it. That is the whole reason the consultation is free.
